Scrap the Police and Crime Commissioner and put more police here instead.

Local residents will go to the polls on Thursday 2nd May to vote in the Police & Crime Commissioner elections.

It’s our town’s chance to deliver its verdict on the record of the Conservative Festus Akinbusoye’s 4 years in office.

Lib Dem candidate Jas Palmer said, “Wherever I go across Bedfordshire, people are disappointed with the lack of police on patrol in their local communities. This election is our chance to get change and elect a Police & Crime Commissioner who will put community policing first.”

The Conservatives in Leighton Buzzard have broken promises to deliver a Police Hub in the town. They’ve failed to deliver a decent police presence on our streets.

Cllr Nigel Carnell said, “We deserve so much better on policing than what we’ve seen recently. Let’s vote for change this May.”
