CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE LIBERAL DEMOCRAT ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

To be held at 7.30 p.m. on Thursday 13th November 2025 at: Astral Park Community Centre, Johnson Drive, Leighton Buzzard, LU7 4AY

All members are very welcome to attend, but you do need to let us know if you plan to attend. You will then be sent the agenda papers, reports and the draft minutes of last year’s AGM. It is your chance to have your say on how the Local Party is run. 

We are delighted to be joined at this meeting by our guest speaker, Anna Sabine, LD MP for Frome & East Somerset and Parliamentary Private Secretary to Ed Davey.

If you would like to stand for election, or nominate another member, for any of the roles on the CBLD Executive Committee to run the Local Party, the role descriptions for these positions are available on the National Party’s website, and a copy of the nomination form is attached below, please submit a completed nomination form to me as Secretary, by Wednesday 12^th November, either by email to elizabeth.owen643@gmail.com or by post to Elizabeth Owen, 4 Oakwell Close, Dunstable, LU6 2PY.

After the formal meeting, you are welcome to stay for a more informal gathering, and we do hope that you will join us. In the event of a need for votes to be taken for competing candidates for election to the Executive Committee, these election(s) will take place after the actual meeting, under the supervision of a duly appointed Returning Officer, and in line with procedures approved by the Party.
